Resumo

The purpose of this work is to present a didactic sequence focused on the teaching of Combinatorial Analysis, aiming to guide mathematics teachers in developing this topic, specifically in relation to solving problems from the National High School Examination (ENEM). The objective is to provide an alternative that fosters student engagement in carrying out activities, emphasizing creativity, patience, perseverance, and the development of skills necessary for solving such problems. The development of this dissertation seeks to assist teachers and students in the teaching-learning process and to make the teaching of Combinatorial Analysis more pleasant and less arduous. The dissertation is divided into chapters that address the National High School Examination (ENEM), the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), and the teaching of Combinatorial Analysis. It briefly presents the definition of the main counting methods covered in ENEM in recent years. Finally, a selection of some Combinatorial Analysis questions that have appeared on ENEM exams in recent years is carried out. For each question presented, at least one solution is proposed, accompanied by a critical analysis
