Zinco orgânico e cobre sobre parâmetros histomorfométricos contagem diferencial de leucócitos de codornas japonesas

Resumo
Among the minerals , zinc and copper make up some enzymes responsible for metabolism and the body's defense processes. In order to assess the possible influence of supplementation of these minerals in Japanese quails were analyzed: duodenum, magnum, liver, pancreas and differential leukocyte count. Were used 480 Japanese quails with 180 days distributed completely randomized in a factorial 3x2, totaling six treatm ents, with ten repetitions and eight animals each. Were supplemented with ration with three levels of organic zinc (35, 50 and 65 mg/kg) and two inorganic copper levels (3.5 and 5 mg/kg) for 84 days. Blood was collected from five birds per treatment for b lood smears and then the same were euthanized for duodenum collection, magnum, liver and pancreas, which were histologically processed and stained with hematoxylin and eosin for histomorphometric analysis and PAS technique for mucosal cell count of the duo denum. The results showed that animals supplemented with 50 mg of zinc showed significant histomorphometric conditions such as height increase of intestinal epithelium and increase in epithelial height magnum. The concentration of 3,5 mg of copper signific antly influenced in larger intestinal villi. No significant interference from the copper at the time of the magnum of the epithelium, although not significant, both concentrations of copper combined with 50 mg of organic zinc, resulted in l arger heights of the epithelium . Histological and histomorphometric analysis of liver and pancreas, respectively, were not influenced by levels of organic zinc and copper , as well as the function performed by both in animal metabolism . The differential leukocyte count sho wed no influence of mineral studied in leukocyte count, however it was observed that the organic zinc and copper alleviate the effects of stress on animal s exposed to thermal discomfort . Therefore was observed that the level of organic zinc 50 mg influence d significantly histom orphometric parameters for magnum and duodenum, for duodenum specifically, significant concentrations were 50Zn / 3,5Cu, and the c oncentration 50Zn/5Cu for magnum . It is suggested that the use of both minerals softened thermal stress, thereby maintaining the health and well being of animals.
