This study aims to analyze the objects present in A hora da estrela of the Clarice Lispector and how they significantly influence the "life" of the characters, especially the protagonist Macabéa, because of marking presence in the fictional setting. The search for this perspective is based on theorists who, even though not directly related to literature, describe about the subject and object relation. This way, we base the investigation of the literary text to be examined through the connection between subject and object. Characterizing the approaches of the object, we consider, taking also the literary text itself as a support on the questions: Can things acquire life or agents in the composition of the fictional text?, Which attributions the object has in the narrative and as do they act in the constitution of the characters?
