- ItemAvaliação da infiltração marginal em cavidades classe V em incisivos de bovinos utilizando-se dois tipos de sistemas adesivos(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2009-10-30) Barreto, Helio Emanoel de Mattos; Gianordoli Neto, Ranulfo; Batitucci, Maria Hermenegilda Grasselli; Gomes, Antonio Augusto; Zanetti, Liliane Scheidegger da SilvaThe marginal selament is constituted in one of the principal obstacles for the adhesive restorations, mainly when the preparation and the extension are higienization and finishing difficult areas. The degree of difficulty and of efficiency becomes worse plenty when the cavities are located under the gums, even if the professional uses the most advanced restoring adhesive systems available. This study intended to analyze the capacity of marginal sealment of two current adhesive systems, a self achtive: Adper SE Plus, and other with total acid conditioning, of the same flask: Single Bond, and to compare the performance of them in bovine substratum (dentin) front to the test of microleakage. For this 40 bovine teeth were used. The teeth were prepared so that the enamel it was removed and the cavities class type V if they only located in the dentin in the cervical third. After these preliminary procedures, the teeth were divided in two groups A and B with 20 specimens each. The group A, the self active adhesive was used and the group B, to the same flask. Both groups received restorations with the composed resin Filtek Z 350. The specimens were waterproof with enamel for fingernails, except for 1mm about of the restoration and the apex radicular was hindered with epoxy resin. After all the specimens were immersed in the colloring solution, fucsina to 0,5% and kept in greenhouse to 37 degrees for 24 hours and tham washed in running water by the same period. For the microleakage analysis by optic microscope with increase of forty times a variable score from H0 to H3 was used and the result was submitted to the test statistical Qui-square (χ2 ), at the level of significance 0,05. It was verified that the percentile of restorations without infiltration (H0) was the same approximately to the two groups A and B: respectively (67,5% and 70%). In the scores H1, H2 and H3, there was alternation of values among the groups, but meantime without statistical significance.
- ItemAvaliação da resistência ao cisalhamento por extrusão, push-out, de pinos de fibra de vidro cimentados à dentina radicular de dente bovinos com diferentes cimentos resinosos - estudo "in vitro"(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2010-12-17) Daleprane, Bruno; Batitucci, Maria Hermenegilda Grasselli; Batitucci, Eduardo; Paulillo, Luis Alexandre Maffei Sartini; Pazinatto, Flavia BittencourtDue to the need for knowledge of the strength of the union of the agents of the resin cements used to-retain the intracanal post, this in-vitro study aimed to evaluate the union of different resin cements to the root canal walls, from the adhesive cementation of fiber glass post, verifying the union by the resistance to the “push-out” test in different regions of the canal. For this study, we used roots of 36 bovine teeth divided into three groups, which were cemented Fiberglass Reforpost no 3 pins. Group A: Panavia F / ED Primer, Group B: RelyX ARC/ Scotchbond Multi-Purpose Plus and Group C: RelyX Unicem. After cementation, specimens were prepared for mechanical testing of “push-out” in different radicular thirds. For statistical analysis, we used the Kruskal Wallis method and for comparing means and to identify groups that differ in each third the Mann Whitney test was used. It was found that for all groups, the cervical third bond strength was similar, whereas for the middle third of the group B and C were statistically similar and both higher than in Group A, and the apical the Group B was superior to both Group A and the lower values of Group C. When comparing this force within each group, it observed that Group C had a uniform bond strength at different depths of root, since the Group A has the best value in the cervical third, and the middle thirds apical and similar to group B and the third cervical was superior to both apical and similar to a medium (p≤0,05). We conclude with a study that the type of cement used influenced the bond strength. Those cementation systems requiring treatment prior to cementation dentin, there was influence the depth of the canal, giving rise to reduced strength of adhesion to approaching the most the apical region, unlike that of cement adhesive presented value for uniform adhesion.
- ItemEfeito do tratamento de superfície na resistência de união à microtração de cimentos resinosos à cerâmica In Ceram Alumina(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2009-12-18) Peixoto, Letícia Monteiro; Batitucci, Eduardo; Batitucci, Maria Hermenegilda Grasselli; Alto, Raphael Vieira Monte; Sanglard, Luciana FariaThe aim of this in Vitro study was to evaluate the microtensile bond strength and the fracture mode of In Ceram Alumina (Vita Zahnfabrik) subjected to resin bonding with different surface treatments. Twenty blocks of ceramic In Ceram Alumina and resin composite Filtek Z350 (3M/ESPE) were made with dimensions of 7mm x 7mm x 5mm. The ceramic blocks were divided into four groups according to the surface treatment and cement used: grupo 1) Al2O3 sandblasting and bonding with Rely X ARC (3M ESPE), grupo 2) Rocatec System sandblasting (3M ESPE) and bonding with Rely X ARC, grupo 3) Al2O3 sandblasting and bonding with Panavia F (Kuraray), grupo 4) Rocatec System sandblasting and bonding with Panavia F. The samples resin/cement/ceramic were sectioned in a cutting machine Labcut 1010 to obtain sticks with a cross-sectional area of ± 1mm2 They were stored in distilled water (7days/370C) and the microtensile bond strength was recorded in a universal testing machine Emic at a crosshead speed of 0.5mm/min. The failure types were noted in a scanning electron microscopy. The results (MPa) were submitted to ANOVA and Tukey’s test (p<0.05): grupo 1-15,71, grupo 2-24,64, grupo 3- 21,86, grupo 4- 28,19. There was no statistical difference between group 2 and group 3. All failures were mixed. It was concluded that the tribochemical system increase the bond strength between resin cements (Panavia F and Rely X ARC) and In Ceram.
