- ItemSorte? Lógica? Modelos de significação e a noção de acaso de adultos alunos do Proeja(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2014-08-29) Silva, Sirley Trugilho da; Rosseti, Cláudia Broetto; Souza, Maria Thereza Costa Coelho de; Pylro, Simone Chabudee; Canal, Cláudia Patrocínio Pedroza; Queiroz, Sávio Silveira deThis thesis set out to investigate the inferential logic of actions and their meanings in situations that mobilize notions of probabilistic composition and chance, as well as the role of models of meaning in adults' cognitive functioning. The participants were young adults of the working class, volunteers, of both sexes, students of a technical course integrated into Secondary Education for Youth and Adults. Three meetings were held individually, recorded in audio and in an electronic spreadsheet, using two games, Likid Gaz and Lucky Cassino, from the software Mission Cognition (Haddad-Zubel, Pinkas & Pécaut, 2006) and a game Two Dice Sum, developed for the research. The procedures of the task were adapted from Silva and Frezza (2011): 1) presentation of the game; 2) game play; 3) semi-structured interview; 4) application of three problem-situations with intervention according to the Clinical Method; 5) new match; and 6) completing two other problem-situations without intervention by the Clinical Method. Levels of heuristic analysis, understanding of games and models of signification were elaborated by identifying particulars of procedures and meanings in the games. The first study examined the implications of the models of signification and previous representations in adult thought, considering that the subject organizes his/hers representations or previous schemes for an object in the form of models of signification depending on the degree of complexity and novelty of the task and his/hers logical mathematical structure, which evolve by the process of equilibration; for which he/she needs the demand to significate that aspect of reality. The second study investigated the notion of the deductible combination evidenced in the game Likid Gaz, identifying the role of 15 models of signification in the choice of procedures, implying the rejection of conducts of systemization or enumeration. There was a predominance of the initial levels in the heuristic analysis of the game. The third study examined the notion of probability observed in the game Lucky Cassino in which most participants had an intermediate level of understanding of the game, with greater diversity of models of signification in relation to other games, but with predominance of the most elementary. The synthesis of the notions of combination, probability and chance was explored in forth study by the Two Dice Sum game, identifying that a limitation for proper understanding of these intertwined notions connections is the significant implication – if random A, then undetermined ?D (notation A ? ?D), with construction of pseudonecessities and pseudo-obligations or even local needs, inappropriately generalized. The objects resistance or obstacles should cause disturbances, but the cognitive structure, social environment and cultural models, and affection can interfere within this process.
