Resumo
So-called biopolymers, especially chitosan (CHI) and collagen (COL), have been playing an important role as biomaterials, this new field of research in the last decade has achieved remarkable advances in the areas of tissue replacement, reconstitution and regeneration, since the Biocompatibility, biodegradability and non-cytotoxicity. This work consists of obtaining and characterizing chitosan / collagen membranes loaded with silver nanoparticles obtained by mixing the polymer solutions in different mass proportions and subsequent evaporation of the solvent, since the silver nanoparticles were obtained in the polymer matrix itself. The chitosan / collagen membranes loaded with silver nanoparticles were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and energy spectroscopy Dispersive (EDX). The results obtained demonstrated that the method of synthesis of the membranes by evaporation and the synthesis of the silver nanoparticles in the polymer matrix were performed very efficiently and proved by the results obtained. The chitosan-collagen blends were analyzed and analyzed by SEM, with a morphology composed of porous and interconnected structures.The mass ratio of QUI / COL was important for the maintenance of thecollagen structure since in the ratio 3:1 (m / m of QUI-COL) a decrease in the ratio between the peaks of 1235 cm-1and 1450 cm-1, respectively, suggesting that increasing the chitosan ratio leads to a loss of collagen protein integrity. The silver chloride nanoparticles added to the polymer matrix of the obtained chitosan had an average size of 25 nm confirmed by MET, in the X-ray diffractogram were observed standard peaks for silver chloride nanoparticle, in the EDX of the precipitate obtained from the synthesis of the silver nanoparticles It was observed besides the silver and chlorine elements the presence of carbon and oxygen elements that confirm the presence of the chitosan matrix adhered to the silver chloride nanoparticles.
