Resumo
This work presents the development of a methodology for Non Intrusive Load Monitoringfor residential loads. The Non Intrusive Monitoring has many applications, this studyaims to audit for energy efficiency. The basic objective is to determine the individualconsumption of each load without having physical access to them. The operation of thecode, the development guidelines and how to display results are describe. In order toevaluate the quality of methodology„ implemented through software, are analyzed four ofits capabilities. The first is the ability to recognize the events on and off from the curve ofactive power. The second is the ability to sort the events recognized, ie, relate the eventto the load who generated it. The third relates to estimate the running time, which isthe act of relating on event of the load to an off event. And the fourth is to the powerconsumption estimation, the software makes using the power of the load and uptime. Inorder to minimize the intrusion into the residence without compromising accuracy, aredeveloped and analyzed two approaches to training the classifier of software, one supervisedand one unsupervised. Four capacities are evaluated for the two aforementioned approaches. Also some improvements are proposed.
