Resumo
The motivation for carrying out the present work focuses on presenting the concept of the photoelectric effect to high school students, through experiences in a virtual workshop, given the pandemic moment we are experiencing. The general objective of the work was to evaluate the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICTs) as mediation instruments in the learning of Modern Physics content in High School. This work is constituted as a research with a qualitative approach. Regarding the procedures, this is a case study, the research subjects were 30 students from the 3rd grade of high school at EEEFM "Fraternity and Light", using 01 Physics class per week, performing activities during class time. with the school's chromebooks, in the classroom itself. As data collection instruments, 03 questionnaires were used, prepared using google forms. The data collected during the different stages of the research, with the use of questionnaires, were qualitatively analyzed through the thematic content analysis technique according to Bardin, and to the elaboration of the workshop was used Google classroom and its tools. Based on the results obtained in this research, it was found that the pedagogical workshops are excellent pedagogical tools, since they work the contents in a fun and pleasant way, arousing the curiosity of the students, helping in teaching and learning. Research on the use of technologies in the pedagogical environment was the main motto that fostered the search for works that will guide this investigation. This was because we believe that traditional education does not keep up with technological advances, at least not as it should.
