Representações sociais dos praticantes da Escolinha de Esportes de Vitória: sentidos produzidos e reorientações pedagógicas

dc.description.abstractThe dissertation investigates the social representations that practitioners - adolescents and teachers - of the School of Sports of Vitória / ES built on this social project. The objectives of the research are: a) to identify the central nucleus of the social representations of the practitioners on the Sports School project; b) to understand, from this nucleus, the different senses built by the adolescents and teachers in their relations with the sports practices offered by the project; c) discuss, based on the social representations of its practitioners, pedagogical reorientations for the School of Sports. It is a descriptive-interpretive research, anchored in the Theory of Social Representations, focusing on the Central Core of these representations. The data were produced through semi-structured interviews, carried out with 108 adolescents of the project and with 7 teachers who work in it. Subsequently, the interviews were described, programmed and submitted to the Iramuteq software, which generated the following analysis tools: word cloud, similarity analysis and descending hierarchical classification. Complementing the data systematized by the software, excerpts from the interviewees' statements were used, which were interpreted by the Content Analysis. The data produced indicate the word play as the central nucleus of the social representations of the adolescents and the word sport as the central nucleus of the social representations of the teachers. From these nuclei derive the different meanings attributed by the practitioners to the project. We can see convergences between the social representations of adolescents and teachers, especially regarding the valuation of training and sports competition. Based on the interviewees' speech, these dimensions are not contradictory to the development of social inclusion, respect and autonomy, values advocated by the project. Although convergent, there is a mismatch between the expectations of adolescents regarding sports practice and the way in which the modalities are offered, especially with regard to pedagogical progression, signaling the need for pedagogical reorientation in the way of conducting the teaching work in the project.
dc.description.resumoA dissertação investiga as representações sociais que praticantes adolescentes e docentes da Escolinha de Esportes de Vitória/ES construíram acerca desse projeto social. Os objetivos da pesquisa são: a) identificar o núcleo central das representações sociais dos praticantes sobre o projeto Escolinha de Esportes; b) compreender, a partir desse núcleo, os diferentes sentidos construídos pelos adolescentes e docentes em suas relações com as práticas esportivas ofertadas pelo projeto; c) discutir, com base nas representações sociais dos seus praticantes, reorientações pedagógicas para a Escolinha de Esportes. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritivo-interpretativa, ancorada na Teoria das Representações Sociais, com foco no Núcleo Central dessas representações. Os dados foram produzidos por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, realizadas com 108 adolescentes do projeto e com 7 professores que nele atuam. Posteriormente, as entrevistas foram descritas, programadas e submetidas ao software Iramuteq, que gerou os seguintes instrumentos de análise: nuvem de palavras, análise de similitudes e a classificação hierárquica descendente. Em caráter complementar aos dados sistematizados pelo software, utilizou-se excertos das falas dos entrevistados, que foram interpretados pela Análise do Conteúdo. Os dados produzidos sinalizam a palavra jogar como núcleo central das representações sociais dos adolescentes e a palavra esporte como núcleo central das representações sociais dos docentes. Desses núcleos, derivam os diferentes sentidos atribuídos pelos praticantes ao projeto. Percebe-se convergências entre as representações sociais dos adolescentes e dos docentes, sobretudo, no que tange à valorização do treinamento e da competição esportiva. Com base na fala dos entrevistados, essas dimensões não são contraditórias ao desenvolvimento da inclusão social, do respeito e da autonomia, valores preconizados pelo projeto. Embora convergentes, há um descompasso entre as expectativas dos adolescentes em relação à prática esportiva e o modo como as modalidades são ofertadas, especialmente no que se refere a progressão pedagógica, sinalizando necessidade de reorientação pedagógica na forma de conduzir o trabalho docente no projeto.
