- ItemEgressos do curso de licenciatura em educação física (2003-2010) : mapeamento inaugural das suas trajetórias(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2013-05-28) Reis, Merielle Soares de Araujo; Figueiredo, Zenólia Christina Campos; Della Fonte, Sandra Soares; Alvarenga, Ana MariaThis study comprises a larger research that aims to track students who graduated from Physical Education, Federal University of Espírito Santo, in order to analyze and understand their profile and route / professional career since his departure from the university. Given the pioneering nature of this task and the fact that our dissertation occupies a very specific in this extensive project, with responsibility to inaugurate it, we had to take several decisions to reach our object and our goals. Thus, our study consisted in locating UFES Physical Education graduates degree formed between the 1st period of 2003 and 2nd period 2010 to trace career and professional training aspects. By this, we had a double purpose: first, we have built a database about these graduates, and secondly, diagnose and systematize a set of problems, clippings, questions and explanatory hypotheses that these data showed. As a methodological approach, we opted for quantitative and qualitative research and justify thus use the model survey research. Therefore divided between description and explanation. Data were collected through a questionnaire applied to all graduates located (95.73%) and allowed the design of the profile of the studied group. They replied our questionnaire (34.87%) that means 188 graduates. It was possible to inventory issues quite significant from a preliminary analysis of the data presented in tables and the charts, such as: a) the issue of gender in professional activities in Physical Education, b) the search for stability in employment in contradiction with the happy to work in teaching profession c) conflicts between initial training and performance in schools, d) graduate with no greater meaning for professional development. Every effort devoted to this study leads us to understand that we are in an initial process, which has been checked several points needing further attention and work, given the scope of the topic. Thus, we are sure that this dissertation will help future researchers in their studies contributing to the improvement of the UFES Physical Education Course.
- ItemEgressos do curso de licenciatura plena em educação física na UFES (1995 - 2002) : aspectos da sua trajetória formativa e profissional(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2014-04-11) Martins, Maria Luiza Raphael Del Rio; Figueiredo, Zenólia Christina Campos; Alvarenga, Ana Maria; Della Fonte, Sandra SoaresThis investigation is composed by a greater research that intended to follow the students whose major is Physical Education in the Physical Education and Sports Center (CEFD) at the Federal University (UFES), State of Espírito Santo, in the period from 1995 to 2010. A total of 395 students graduated between the end of the first semester in 1995 and the end of the second semester in 2010, composed the universe of this study stage. The instrument used was a questionnaire formed by open and closed questions that enabled to delineate a profile of the group analyzed, as well as outlining aspects of the formative and professional trajectory. The research located 80% of the graduated students‟ universe and 33,67% answered the questions corresponding to one third of the total. The work systematizes aspects of the formative and professional path of these former students through two themes: the knowledge dealt in the initial formation and carrier perspectives and Teachers‟ professionalism. In general, relating these subjects initial formation with their entry in the labor market, for most of the people, the initial formation assisted (94%), prepared (67%) to professionally act in the area, also influenced in the choice to act in the Physical Education area working at the moment (67%). The text stands out that the actuation field, significantly more occupied by these graduated students, is the formal education area in private, state, municipal and/or federal education networks. The researcher shares some concerns about the complex scenario that the issues regarding the Physical Education formation and the intervention are immersed, bringing data that reveal the academic and professional history of the graduated students.
