- ItemContos de Grimm (1812-1815) : dos significantes na representação da verossimilhança artístico-literária ou aristotélica(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2016-12-15) Almeida, Lícia Cristina Dalcin de; Oliveira, Ester Abreu Vieira de; Soares, Luis Eustáquio; Bomfim, Renata; Baunilha, Eduardo Fernando; Ribeiro, Francisco AurélioThis reading is developed from the idea of classical, artistic and literary or Aristotelian verisimilitude as “psychological verisimilitude”, in other words, a verisimilitude which depends on contrasts between receiver’s signifiers and literary work’s signifiers. Thus, this verisimilitude promotes a “feeling of truth” that reproduces, in the receiver, actual sensations experienced on the real world. The signifier’s concept that guides this approach is from Lacan’s theories. “Truth” or “real world” in this reading depend on theoretical lines which are oriented to representation and language, as Kant, Nietzsche, Freud, Lacan himself, Wittgenstein and other researchers, especially readers of those listed. Aristotle is the verisimilitude’s theoretician - and he linked it to “actions of high importance” which are dependants on “necessity”. To the concept of “necessity” we associate the desire from Lacanian psychoanalytic line, which sets the sequence of signifiers applications operated under the command of a subject. That way, we point out in signifiers from Grimm tales (the first edition) verisimilar and also nonverisimilar actions. We also show traits that may refer to the viability of a concept for a “grimmismo” or aesthetics that have guided the two brothers’ tales writing.
- ItemMulheres negras: tradições orais, artes, ofícios e identidades(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2016-12-19) Marcelino, Jacqueline Laranja Leal; Coser, Stelamaris; Oliveira, Jurema; Schiffler, Michele Freire; Dutra, Paulo Roberto de Souza; Baunilha, Eduardo FernandoFrom a comparative perspective, the orality of the African traditions and the arts / works are analyzed as constituents of the identities of black women, protagonists of the novels: The Color Purple (1986), by Alice Walker (African-American); Ponciá Vicêncio (2003), by Conceição Evaristo (Afro-Brazilian); and Niketche: a history of polygamy (2004), by Paulina Chiziane (African of Mozambique). Gender and ethnicity issues are privileged, contextualized and problematized with the support of historical reference, of feminist and postcolonial studies. The selected narratives and their protagonists tangentiate themselves through memories of slavery and / or colonization that impacted the African and their descendants, but not only that. It is understood that representations of oralities in the three narratives indicate the appreciation of the characters for the return to the past as a form of self-knowledge, and for the preservation of their origins and traditions as a form of resistance. The correlation between black women and their everyday arts and works, in its turn, mark a know-how transmitted from generation to generation. These constituents have a strong connection with memory and ancestry, but without essentialization; the characters need to know their origins in order to (re) elaborate their identities with this basis and strength.
- ItemNeruda e Gullar: poesia em rebelião na América(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2017-02-01) Quirino, Ana Maria; Oliveira, Ester Abreu Vieira de; Bomfim, Renata Oliveira; Nascimento, Jorge Luiz; Arcuri, Sílvia Cárcamo de; Baunilha, Eduardo FernandoIn this thesis, one presents a study of poetics of Pablo Neruda and Ferreira Gullar, defining the political/social themes, developed from these authors, by noting the similarities and differences on the reading of their poems. Considering the characteristics of the works of the poets analyzed, that match poetic talent and political/social engagement, the focus of this study is the “poetry in rebellion”, expression used by the Mexican poet and literary critic Octavio Paz in his book “O arco e a lira”. Studies about lyricism, political poetry, power, Marxism and literature compose the theoretical basis for the development of this thesis. Considering the size of the complete works of each author, as well as the focus chosen, it was necessary to choose a part of the works of each author: from Neruda, one chose to analyze the poems of the book “Canto geral” from 1950; and from Gullar, one chose the texts of the anthology “Toda poesia” (1950-1987). One also read the books of memoirs published by the authors: “Confesso que vivi - memórias” from Neruda; and “Rabo de foguete” from Gullar – where one can find data recorded by both writers, about the social/political context in which the analyzed poetry was written.
- ItemNos meandros da narratividade: a memória em três tempos da literatura brasileira(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2016-06-27) Baunilha, Eduardo Fernando; Oliveira, Ester Abreu Vieira de; Soares, Luis Eustáquio; Caser, Maria Mirtes; Nascimento, José Leonardo do; Drumond, Josina NunesThe literary work of creation presupposes a memorialistic exercise, materializing on the word, will become literary memory. And, in this thesis, we analyze through comparativist method, as the memory is divided into three moments in Brazilian literature: Memórias do Cárcere, Graciliano Ramos, when the author tells of a living context for it; in Os Sertões, Euclides da Cunha, when a story is witnessed and transfigured on the printed page, and finally the book Em Liberdade, Silviano Santiago, when a writer creates a literary situation. And to do this analysis, we seek to benefit in scholars memory - Jöel Candau, Ivan Izquierdo, Jonathan Foster, Henri Bergson; the literary creation - Käte Hamburger, Roland Barthes, history - Jacques Le Goff and Roger Chartier; and in theory literary - Walnice Galvão, Luiz Costa Lima, Wander Melo Miranda, Mikhail Bakhtin, Ruth Silviano Brandão and Paul Ricoeur.
