Freud’s founding of psychoanalysis is preceded by the clinical impasse posed by hysteria, whose etiology and treatment proved inaccessible to neurology and the anatomo-clinical paradigm. Faced with the insufficiency of prevailing medical models, Freud enacts an epistemological rupture by postulating the existence of the unconscious, inaugurating psychoanalysis as a clinical and theoretical method to address neurotic symptoms. Similarly, Lacan makes a decisive turn toward psychoanalysis through his critique of psychiatry, especially organicist doctrines and the lack of consistent therapeutic perspectives in treating psychoses. Throughout his trajectory, Lacan revisits Freud’s work, supported by contributions from other fields, formulating original concepts and promoting a structural reinterpretation of the Oedipus complex. While Freud places the paternal function at the center of neurosis and culture, Lacan radicalizes this function in the theory of foreclosure of the Name-of-the-Father as the structural axis of psychosis. This research thus aims to trace this theoretical development through an epistemological problematization of medicine, distinguishing neurology and psychiatry in the authors’ paths, and emphasizing the centrality of the Oedipus complex and the paternal function as articulations between psychic suffering and the symbolic dimension of culture. This debate proves particularly relevant in the contemporary context of psychopathology, marked by the dominance of the technoscientific and biologizing discourse of the DSM-5
- ItemAção dos subprodutos do nitroprussiato de sódio na germinação de sementes de alface sob estresse hídrico e térmico, em um cenário simulado de crise climática(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2025-12-03) Bonfá, Yasmim Smarsaro; Co-orientador1; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 1º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 2º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 3º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 4º membro da banca; https://orcid.org; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 5º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/Abiotic stresses generate significant monetary losses due to the imposition of limiting conditions on agricultural production. Among these, climate change can cause not only water stress but also thermal stress, impacting seed germination in such a way as to compromise the full development of the crop, its ability to maintain yield, and consequently the food security of human populations. Sodium nitroprusside (SNP), an inorganic complex, releases cyanide (CN) and nitric oxide (NO) as byproducts of its spontaneous decomposition; the latter is commonly used in germination studies to mitigate the effects of abiotic stress. However, the substance responsible for the beneficial effects attributed to SNP remains unclear. This is particularly important when different products are released by the same compound. Considering the release of byproducts derived from SNP, this study sought to evaluate the role of these byproducts in promoting the benefits of exposing lettuce seeds under water and heat stress to the exogenous administration of SNP and the NO scavenger, PTIO (2-phenyl 4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl 3-oxide). This allowed for a focused elucidation of the contribution of each molecule to the germination results obtained in the presence and absence of NO. A total of 12 treatments were tested: Water, PEG, SNP, SNP+PEG, SNP+PTIO, SNP+PTIO+PEG at temperatures of 20°C and 30°C. The following attributes were evaluated: germination percentage (%G), germination speed index (GSI), fresh mass (FM) and dry mass (DM), root length (R), shoot length (SL), catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POX) enzyme activity, total protein content, and malondialdehyde (MDA) level. It was found that under water deficit, nitric oxide was essential in overcoming the stress, while under heat stress, it loses its role as a promoter of benefits to cyanide. NO continues to contribute to the system, but apparently its role becomes solely in promoting germination; in contrast, it is cyanide that allows the plant to continue its development. In the simulated climate crisis scenario where water and thermal stress act simultaneously, the action pattern resembles the results found for thermal stress, showing that the water deficit can be overcome by nitric oxide from the SNP. However, whenever there is an increase in temperature, it is cyanide that sustains the overcoming of the difficulties presented by the stresses promoted in this work, regardless of whether it is being influenced by high temperatures or by the synergy of water and thermal stresses
- ItemAnálise do percurso terapêutico de idosos portadores de catarata: pesquisa nacional de saúde, Brasil, 2019(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2025-01-01) Coelho, Roberta Goltara; Co-orientador1; https://orcid.org/; https://lattes.cnpq.br/; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; https://lattes.cnpq.br/; https://orcid.org/; https://lattes.cnpq.br/; 1º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; https://lattes.cnpq.br/; 2º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; https://lattes.cnpq.br/; 3º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; https://lattes.cnpq.br/Introduction: Cataracts are the leading cause of reversible blindness and represent a major public health challenge in Brazil. Associated with population aging and social inequalities, the disease affects millions of people and has a significant impact on the Unified Health System (SUS). There is a scarcity of national analyses focusing on the therapeutic itinerary (care pathway) for individuals with cataracts. This gap can be addressed using data from the 2019 National Health Survey (PNS). Such analyses can contribute to identifying the magnitude of the condition and the differences in access to diagnosis and surgical treatment in Brazil. Objectives: To determine the prevalence of cataract diagnosis and associated factors, as well as the indication and effective performance of corrective surgery among Brazilian residents aged 60 and over. Methods: This is a cross-sectional, population-based study using data from the 2019 National Health Survey (PNS). The prevalence rates of cataract diagnosis, surgical indication, and surgical undertaking were calculated. Crude and adjusted Prevalence Ratios (PRs) were estimated using Poisson regression with robust variance for sociodemographic and regional factors. The final sample included 22,728 older adults. Results: Among the study participants, 40.4% (95% CI: 39.7–41.1) had a clinical diagnosis of cataract. Among these, the largest proportion (83.3%; 95% CI: 82.5–84.1) received an indication for surgical treatment, which demonstrates the recognition of the therapeutic need. However, a relevant barrier was observed in access to the subsequent stage: only 73.2% (95% CI: 72.1–74.2) of individuals with an indication for surgery actually underwent the procedure. Thus, it was found that more than a quarter (26.9%; 95% CI: 25.8–27.9) of cases requiring intervention did not complete the care pathway. Final considerations: This study highlighted the high prevalence of cataracts among older adults in Brazil and the barriers to accessing surgery, marked by social and regional inequalities. The findings reinforce the need to strengthen primary care, modernize regulatory mechanisms, and expand funding for eye health to ensure equity and reduce the burden of preventable blindness in the country.
- ItemAplicação integrada de técnicas cromatográficas, espectroscópicas e quimiométricas na caracterização de chocolates artesanais(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2025-12-18) Altissimo, Joseline; Co-orientador1; https://orcid.org/; https://buscatextual.cnpq.br; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; https://buscatextual.cnpq.br; https://orcid.org/; https://buscatextual.cnpq.br; 1º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; https://buscatextual.cnpq.br; 2º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; https://buscatextual.cnpq.br; 3º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; https://buscatextual.cnpq.br; 4º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; https://buscatextual.cnpq.brThe chemical characterization of artisanal chocolates has proven essential to ensuring quality, authenticity, and understanding sensory attributes related to cocoa content. In this work, different analytical approaches were employed to examine organic and inorganic constituents of chocolates produced in Brazil, with cocoa contents ranging from 36 % to 100 %. The chromatographic stage comprised the analysis of 45 samples, of which 17 representative ones were evaluated by HS SPME/GC-MS for the identification of volatile compounds. In total, 72 compounds were identified, including acids, esters, pyrazines, and aldehydes, associated with descriptors such as roasted, nutty, floral, and fruity. Methylxanthines were quantified by HPLC-DAD after the optimization of a US-LLE procedure, which resulted in recoveries of 91,7 % ± 11,3 % for theobromine and 94,7 % ± 2,7 % for caffeine. The obtained concentrations, ranging from 1.158 to 21.033 g kg-1 for theobromine and from 0.058 to 1.998 g kg-1 for caffeine, exhibited a positive correlation with the declared cocoa content. Principal component analysis revealed separation between low- and high-cocoa samples, with theobromine being the variable with the highest discriminant weight. These results reinforced the potential of methylxanthines as useful organic markers for classification and authenticity verification of artisanal chocolates. The spectroscopic investigation involved the application of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) to 45 samples. Instrumental conditions were optimized using a 24 factorial design, considering spot diameter, laser energy, delay time, and the emission lines of C, Ca, Mg, and K. The function of desirability enabled the identification of variables with the greatest influence on analytical performance. Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) modeling provided strong correlation between predicted and declared cocoa content, with RMSEC of 4.5 % w/w and RMSEP of 4.0 % w/w. Validation samples showed trueness values between 90 % and 110 %, meeting the established criteria. Principal component analysis showed clear distinction between conventional chocolates (30–65 % cocoa) and higher-content chocolates (70–100 % cocoa), highlighting the contribution of elemental markers such as Ca, Mg, and K. Convergence between chromatographic and spectroscopic methods became evident when comparing monitored organic compounds and elements. Samples with higher concentrations of theobromine and caffeine also exhibited greater Mg and K intensity in LIBS, elements naturally associated with the solid fraction of cocoa. This alignment between organic and inorganic profiles highlighted the direct relationship between chemical composition and cocoa content, reinforcing the integrated use of these techniques for authentication and quality control purposes. The results demonstrate that the combined application of GC-MS, HPLC-DAD, and LIBS, together with chemometric tools, offers an efficient approach to examining the composition of artisanal chocolates, contributing to traceability practices, authenticity verification, and quality enhancement in the sector
- ItemAproveitamento agrícola do biossólido gerado na estação de tratamento de esgoto de Jerônimo Monteiro - ES na laranjeira(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2024-11-26) Viçosi, Karen Andreon; Co-orientador1; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Co-orientador2; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 1º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 2º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 3º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 4º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/Sewage sludge, known as biosolids after treatment, is a residue from sewage treatment that can be used in agriculture due to the presence of nutrients and organic matter. Its use in agroecosystems is justified to improve soil properties, increase microbial diversity and promote the circulation of nutrients, being an effective way to increase food production. Although the use of biosolids in agricultural production systems is a great option for reusing this material, this practice still needs to be controlled to be able to provide some risks, such as the presence of heavy metals, pathogens, organic compounds and toxins in excess, which can cause losses in agricultural practice. Another possibility for using biosolids is as a substrate for seedling production. It is capable of increasing the growth and improving the nutrition of seedlings, facilitating the lifespan and the cost of acquiring substrates. However, the physical attributes of biosolids may not be specific to all species, requiring tests to indicate an ideal proportion of biosolids in relation to the substrate. One of the treatments that sewage sludge can undergo is liming, and it is essential to understand the dynamics of soil pH with biosolids fertilization. Unlimed sewage sludge reduces soil pH after 21 days. However, in general, the application of 80 t ha-1 reduces pH by 4.8%, 9.9% and 9.6% for sandy, medium and clayey soils, respectively. Limed sewage sludge presents high soil reactivity after seven days, with a reduction in the occurrence of alkalinization over time. In general, for sandy soil, the pH value was around 7.6, while for medium and clayey soils the pH value was 7.4 at the dose of 80 t ha-1. Sandy textured soils with lower moderate capacity, selected from smaller doses of limed sewage sludge to reach pH 7. Based on these studies, the prediction of biosolids in seedling production and orange tree planning was then tested. Citrus farming is economically important in national agriculture, and also in the southern region of Espírito Santo. Biosolids have the potential to be used in the composition of substrate for the production of citrus rootstocks, replacing the commercial substrate. The use of biosolids in the proportion of up to 60% for Rangpur lime seedlings and up to 45% for ‘San Diego’ citrandarin seedlings promoted better responses in relation to initial growth and plant quality. In the field, biosolids can also be used for initial fertilization of the crop. The application of biosolids at doses of 100%, 115% and 150% of the N recommendation for the crop improved the chemical attributes of the soil, such as P, Ca, SB, CTC, effectiveness and base saturation. The levels of calcium, SB, t, V increased until 9 months, while organic matter increased until 11.7 months. In general, biosolids did not promote an increase in the content of micronutrients (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn and B) in relation to mineral fertilization

The research is organized around four figurations that serve as critical operators to examine the theoretical and ethico-political displacements of psychoanalysis through the lens of the clinic with babies: Psychogenetic Baby, a trope that introduces psychoanalysis as a theory that, since its emergence, has led us to the terrain of childhood, revealing its traces in psychic constitution as testimony to the incidence of the Unconscious. Freud is understood not only to have enabled the formulation of a properly infantile psychopathological field but also to have inaugurated a new proposal for science. The clinic with children—and especially with babies— places tension on the psychoanalytic method, challenging its epistemological limits in a constant search for validation. Misunderstood Baby situates Lacan’s critique of the loss of theoretical specificity and ethical radicality promoted by certain post-Freudians, defining the status of the subject as an effect of language and rescuing the subversion promoted by psychoanalytic discourse as the privileged way to position the subject in relation to knowledge and truth. Neuroplastic Baby analyzes the incidence of neoliberal rationality and the neurodiscourse in contemporary readings of childhood. It problematizes how cerebralist logic, supported by the notion of neurodevelopment, reconfigures the idea of the subject and introduces the normative ideal of performance, culminating in the centrality of autism as a paradigmatic diagnosis. The thesis considers the not-all neurological status of this clinical structure and the ambiguous position of psychoanalysis in face of the “autism industry,” ranging from rejection to conciliation. Automaton Baby, in turn, interrogates the permeation of neurodiscourse in psychic constitution and early childhood care practices. It shows how the valorization of the “competent,” active, and autonomous baby ends up becoming a form of objectification and control. This figuration reveals the capture of psychoanalysis by neurodevelopmentalist and risk-prevention logics and symbolizes, thus, the neoliberal ideal of premature autonomy and the erasure of the bond with the Other through the overvaluation of expert knowledge about subjectivity. Finally, the last chapter proposes an inversion of the neoliberal logic that captures suffering and subjectivity under normalization criteria. By considering autism as a pathology of the social, it demonstrates how the shadow of this clinical picture extends to babies (and perhaps to fetuses) and definitively exposes an ideal of childhood, a mode of bonding, and a form of suffering typical of our times. Understanding that each psychoanalyst’s choice regarding the use of theory and its modes of transmission must be regarded as a political act, this work values the wager on the subject of the unconscious as that which escapes scientistic ambition and nosographic categorization. Sustaining the discussion on the decoloniality and demedicalization of childhoods will require recovering the subversive character of psychoanalysis, repositioning it in its extimate condition
- ItemCompostos orgânicos e adubação fosfatada na disponibilidade de P para as plantas(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2024-11-18) Souza, Inês Viana de; Co-orientador1; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Co-orientador2; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 1º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 2º membro da banca; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The addition of organic matter to the soil plays an important role in reducing P adsorption by colloids, especially in tropical agricultural systems where soils have high levels of Fe and Al oxides. In addition, organic matter improves the chemical and biological properties of the soil, increasing the efficiency of phosphate fertilizers. In this context, the study aimed to evaluate the effect of organic compounds applied to the soil on P availability for corn and coffee plants using a conventional phosphate source and an organophosphate. In the first experiment, corn was used as a test plant with two consecutive cultivation cycles, each lasting 30 days. In the second experiment, coffee was used as a test plant, with a cultivation duration of 180 days. Both experiments followed a randomized block design (RBD) with four replications, following a 2 x 2 x 5 factorial scheme, in which the study factors were: two sources of organic compost (poultry manure with cotton residue and coffee straw - EA; cattle manure with coffee straw - EB); two sources of P (monoammonium phosphate - MAP and organophosphate - MAPBIO) and five doses of organic compost (0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 t ha-1), totaling 80 experimental units. In the corn crop, the leaf area (AF), leaf dry matter (MSF), stem dry matter (MSC), aerial part dry matter (MSPA) of the 1st and 2nd crop cycle, available P contents (Mehlich-1 extractors and water) and the contents of P, K, Ca and Mg of corn leaves of the 1st and 2nd cycle were determined. In coffee crops, the variables analyzed were leaf area (LA), leaf dry matter (LDM), plagiotropic + orthotropic branch dry matter (PRDM), aerial part dry matter (APDM) and P, K, Ca and Mg contents in coffee leaves. The results from corn crops showed that the application of different organic compounds (EA and EB) increased the efficiency of phosphate fertilization. In the first crop cycle, the organic compound EA with the conventional phosphate source MAP promoted a similar effect to the organophosphate fertilizer MAPBIO on the growth variables analyzed. In the 2nd crop cycle, the fertilizer MAPBIO with the organic compound EA promoted greater development of AF (1588.47 cm² pot-1), MSF (6.30 g pot-1) and MSPA (9.53 g pot-1), and with the organic compound EB from MSC (2.60 g pot-1) and MSPA (8.04 g pot-1). The maximum dose of 40 t ha-1 of the organic compound EA with the phosphate fertilizers MAP and MAPBIO allowed greater development of the corn plant. The increase in the doses of the organic compound EB with the fertilizers MAP and MABIO had no effect on the morphological variables. The coffee crop experiment concluded that the organic compound EB was more efficient in increasing the efficiency of phosphate fertilization, providing greater initial crop development with the variables AF, MSF, MSRPO and MSPA presenting higher differences of 28.64%, 34.20%, 46.42% and 37.54%, respectively, in relation to the morphological variables with the organic compound EA. The application of organic compounds with the conventional phosphate source MAP promoted similar effects to the fertilizer MAPBIO on the morphological variables evaluated. The increase in the doses of the organic compound EA with the fertilizer MAPBIO had negative effects on the availability of P in the soil and there was no effect of doses when associated with MAP. The increase in the doses of the organic compound EB with the MAP fertilizer provided the greatest development of the morphological variables analyzed at the doses of 23.90 t ha-1 (AF), 23.01 t ha-1 (MSF), 23.76 t ha-1 (MSRPO) and 23.20 t ha-1 (MSPA), with no effect of doses with the MAPBIO fertilizer

The State of Mato Grosso stands out with an average productivity of 6,338 kg/ha and production of 41,620,1 tons of grains, followed by Paraná, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul and Minas Gerais. The average productivity per maize area in the State of Espírito Santo is 2,955 kg/ha, ranking at the bottom. Among the problems that cause low maize production are inadequate fertilization management, the selection and planting of genetic materials susceptible to adverse environments (such as saline) and post-harvest pest infestation caused mainly by Sitophilus zeamais, responsible for grain losses and seeds. To prepare this research, 5 factorial experiments were prioritized, two (2) in the field and three (3) carried out in the laboratories of UFES-Alegre and Embrapa Milho e Sorgo. The objective of this research was to evaluate the physiological, morphological and productive performance of maize genotypes subjected to saline environment conditions, mineral fertilizer sources and alternative control of Sitophilus zeamais Motschulsky. The first chapter aimed to evaluate the effect of saline concentrations on seed germination and development of maize seedlings, and it was concluded that the best response to saline stress was obtained in the White genotype, in all variables evaluated. The second chapter evaluated the physiological and morphological behavior of maize genotypes in response to the application of mineral and organomineral fertilizers and it was concluded that fertilization with organomineral fertilizer provided similar responses when compared to complete fertilization - NPK. In the third chapter, the nutritional status and production of corn genotypes were evaluated based on the application of mineral and organomineral fertilizer, and it was concluded that the hybrid AG1051 and the varieties Branco, Roxo, Palha roxa and Vermelho showed higher grain productivity when they were fertilized with NPK. The fourth chapter aimed to evaluate the host preference of Sitophilus zeamais in stored maize seeds. And it was concluded that maize genotypes present different mechanisms of non-preference and oviposition by Sitophilus zeamais, with Roxo genotype standing out, which presented antixenosis resulting from the effect of nutritional properties and seed hardness. In the fifth chapter, the objective was to evaluate the effect of dosages of Corymbia citriodora powders on Sitophilus zeamais in the conservation of maize seeds and it was concluded that the interaction between Corymbia citriodora powders and genetic resistance of maize genotypes constitutes a sustainable strategy for efficient seed protection for family and organic farming

Using official budget data re-grouped by functional classification of expenditure, the study articulates empirical analysis with the theoretical framework of the derivation school. The findings suggest that, despite shifts in political leadership, the core of fiscal policy remained structurally aligned with adjustment imperatives, favouring financial outlays and incentives to the private sector, while deprioritising key areas of social spending. The structure of state revenues reinforces this trend by granting tax exemptions without robust mechanisms for oversight and transparency, thereby deepening the regressive nature of the tax system. Ultimately, the Espírito Santo budget functions as an organic component of state policy—understood here as the expanded reproduction of capital—managing distributive tensions without overcoming them and revealing the persistence of a fiscal rationality largely impervious to partisan or conjunctural change.

Although graphene is a difficult to synthesize, GO is, on the other hand, a fairly easy one, and it is possible to obtain graphene starting from GO. Graphene flakes with hydroxyl and epoxy functional groups were analyzed using quantum chemical methods (specifically, density functional theory). Also, the connections between the simulated 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra and the structure of the system were searched. The study showed that the presence of the functional groups: (i) influences the emergence of peaks between 90 and 60 ppm in the NMR spectrum; (ii) shifts sp2 carbon peaks to the left of the NMR spectrum (increasing the average chemical shifts); (iii) and promotes the unification of 3 peaks in the sp2 carbon range that initially existed without the presence of the functional groups. It is shown that the obtained computational results have a good agreement with the NMR spectral changes observed in experiments of thermal reduction of GO
- ItemGerminar territórios de vida em contextos de luta por moradia : resistência e aquilombamento da Ocupação Vila Esperança(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2025-10-24) Miranda, Guilherme Corrêa; Co-orientador1; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; https://orcid.org/; 1º membro da banca; 2º membro da banca; 3º membro da bancaThis dissertation proposes to accompany processes of aquilombamento that germinate from existence and resistance within the context of an urban occupation and the struggle for housing. To this end, we seek to operate with an expanded conception of aquilombamento , drawing particularly on the contributions of Beatriz Nascimento and Abdias do Nascimento, who offer critiques of the hegemonic historiographical conception that attributes to the quilombos a strictly archaeological condition, fixed in the past. Thus, through this broadening, we aim to weave threads of connection between aquilombamento territories and housing occupations, in light of the delineation of the categories of affection, care, and ancestral wisdom. The Vila Esperança Occupation is the territory where this research unfolds. Located in the municipality of Vila Velha, part of the Metropolitan Region of Greater Vitória (RMGV) in the state of Espírito Santo, the occupation began in 2017. Due to the high housing deficit, combined with the health crisis caused by Covid-19, the occupation expanded, sheltering approximately 800 families by 2025, according to residents’ reports. Situated on an extensive plot surrounded by environmental preservation areas, the occupation faces the pressures of an intense land conflict in the region. Indeed, the entanglement of the forces of the State, the real estate market, and the judicial system imposes a grammar of violence materialized through police repression, real estate financial capital, and legal discourse — all working toward the eviction of residents from the self-built and occupied territory. In this sense, the analyses presented here focus on the period of intensification of the territorial dispute, resulting from the judicial decision ordering the population’s eviction. Through a participatory methodological approach centered on the processes that germinate from/in the lived ground — that is, the relations that make it possible to sustain a living territory — we seek to give shape to the aquilombamento processes cultivated during critical moments of attack and dismantling, as well as during the reclaiming of Vila Esperança, following the Supreme Federal Court (STF) decision to suspend the repossession order. Furthermore, grounded in the experience of Vila Esperança, we highlight the importance of occupations as spaces of belonging and protection in the face of capitalist-colonialist logics of urban production

Science, as it is present in everyday life, can and should be addressed from the first stage of Basic Education: Early Childhood Education. Given the relevance of scientific knowledge, it is necessary to reflect on whether this has, in fact, been provided to young children in the school environment. Considering children as the subject of this research is justified by the need to know, understand and respect their own way of learning. In this sense, it was essential to study the current curricular documents, such as the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), which is nationwide, and the Espírito Santo Curriculum, which is statewide and aligned with the BNCC, which propose teaching for children based on two structuring axes: interactions and play. These axes represent languages specific to childhood, which manifest themselves in a dynamic and inseparable way, allowing children to observe, explore, formulate hypotheses, argue, seek information and prepare syntheses. Thus, this research sought to observe and analyze whether the approach to the field of Science, mediated by moments of interaction and play, is capable of promoting learning and child development. The investigation was carried out with 20 children in a Municipal Early Childhood Education Center in the city of Linhares - ES. The central question was: Did learning and language expansion occur in the field of Science through interactions and play? As a general objective, the proposal was to carry out moments of interaction and play with children aged 4 and 5 and verify the signs of learning and expansion of scientific language. Documentary research and participant observation were used as data collection instruments. For data analysis, Historical-Dialectical Materialism was adopted as the theoretical-methodological approach. The results indicate that learning occurred through moments of interaction and play, favoring dialogue, interaction and the collective construction of knowledge, in addition to fostering the expansion of language

Grounded in Freudian-Lacanian psychoanalysis and in dialogue with decolonial thought, the research problematizes the use of “wall-images”— prefabricated meanings that attempt to plug the subject's structural lack — to foster narcissistic and competitive dynamics within the social bond. The study addresses the real of racial difference as a traumatic core that destabilizes the fantasy of whiteness's fullness and the framework of the colonizing gaze. The research proposes a direction for subverting this scenario through photography, understood not as a mirror of reality, but as a sublimatory practice. Drawing inspiration from the metaphor of the “third portrait”, which avoids both escapist idealism and passive naturalism, the work defines “photographic interpretation” as a gesture that points towards what escapes representation. This practice reintroduces a distinct temporality and highlights the constitutive void of visual language, allowing the subject to engage with the visible through singular references, thereby dismantling the claim to universality inherent in the modern master's discourse. Employing Žižekian kynicism, this study proposes the photographic act as an intervention within the dominant cynical reason, transforming the image into a field of resistance against gadget-images. It concludes that the photographic act, by elevating the object to the dignity of the Thing (das Ding), operates as a form of resistance to mercantile instrumentalization, revealing the structural flaw that undermines the neoliberal fantasy of fullness
- ItemPráticas de construção coletiva do cuidado : o projeto terapêutico singular como estratégia de afirmação do SUS(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2023-09-20) Rodrigues, Euzilene da Silva; Co-orientador1; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; https://orcid.org/; 1º membro da banca; 2º membro da banca; 3º membro da bancaThis research aimed to map the construction of care practices between service users and workers of the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) in the city of Serra, Espírito Santo, Brazil. The study is situated within the framework of the National Mental Health Policy, which is anti-asylum in nature and advocates for community-based care and freedom, focusing on enhancing the autonomy and protagonism of users within the Unified Health System (SUS). The narratives of trajectories within the RAPS compose the research, guided by the cartographic perspective, where creation occurs within the process through lived experiences and the construction of worlds. The research focuses on the development of Singular Therapeutic Projects (PTS) as a tool to foster care cultivated through relationships. Starting from a localized experience that reflects the reality of many other territories, the study invests in collective movements to create care strategies. This involves problematizing the solidified roles that users and workers may occupy — where responsibility for knowledge and intervention is often verticalized. It was observed that the affirmation of anti-asylum practices, which are inherently democratic, is consolidated through collective and co-managed construction. In conclusion, sustaining collective interests provides an expanded meaning to mental health care and contributes to the affirmation of the public dimension of public health policies

Based on an analysis of the exhibition experience—understood as a sensitive laboratory in which artworks, environment, and interventions interact—the study proposes a critical reading of curatorship as an active device for the redistribution of the sensible, breaking with traditional narratives and hegemonic consensuses. Grounded in theoretical frameworks that engage with the perspectives of Jacques Rancière, Maria Lind, and other authors who address political aesthetics, the research analyzes how the contemporary curator operates not only in the formal organization of artworks but also in the construction of narratives that challenge the boundaries between the artistic and the political. Using a mixed methodology that combines documentary analysis, interviews, and case studies, the work highlights the relevance of the curator as an agent of cultural mediation. It thus contributes to broadening the debate around critical curatorship and the history of exhibitions, emphasizing its role in contesting structures of power and reconfiguring the practices of perception and experience of art
