The objective of the research was to reflect on the role of the dystopia literary genre in the formation of critical readers. The hypothesis constituted is that the dystopia literary genre, even if written more than seventy years ago, as is the case in 1984, when describing social organizations characterized by intolerable living conditions, manages to criticize trends in current society, as it invites readers to broaden their reflection on contemporary social phenomena. The methodology is based on a qualitative research perspective, with an interpretative analysis of the book 1984, by George Orwell, based on concepts such as spectacle society and cultural industry, based on dialogue with the tradition of critical theory of society, inaugurated by the Frankfurt Institute for Social Research
- ItemA "crise" do café e a ideologia desenvolvimentista no Espírito Santo(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2010-09-27) Daré, Raquel; Scarim, Paulo Cesar; Campos Júnior, Carlos Teixeira deThis work investigates the process of construction and circulation of the coffee “crisis” idea in the Espírito Santo state, Brazil, in the 1960s, looking for comprehension of how this idea got power and legitimacy, being reported until the present day. It starts with the understanding that the idea of "crisis" is part of a larger ideological construction, which sought to insert the developmental ideas in the Espírito Santo state. Thus, it first looks for identify and analyze the political articulations, the formulated instruments and the documents and studies produced in the 1960s which sought to insert the developmentalist ideology in the Espírito Santo state. It was seen that besides the political articulations and formulated instruments several ideas were produced during this period as a strategy to insert the developmentalist ideology in the Espírito Santo state. The strongest of these ideas was that the Espírito Santo state was in "crisis" and agriculture based in small familiar rural properties was the cause of this “crisis”. The small familiar rural properties were also identified as the cause of state’s "backwardness" and Espírito Santo was located at the periphery of national development. The "diversification" of the productive structure has been appointed as the solution for the "crisis". Then, it was analyzed academic papers written at that time and later, looking for the understanding of how the idea of "crisis" was inserted in the academic debate. It was found that the authors of these academic researches used as main references the studies and documents produced at that time. So their papers use the angle of the official discourse and just reinforce this discourse, expanding the political debate for the academic debate. As it was inserted in the academic debate, through theses and dissertations from major universities of Brazil, the idea of the "crisis" got legitimacy, still being repeated in many interpretations of the Espírito Santo state. Finally, it was done a historical overview of the Espírito Santo agrarian space, contrasting it with the ideas contained in the documents and studies analyzed. It tries to show evidences of the existence or not of the "crisis" in the Espírito Santo coffee production structure during the 1960s. Following it was presented an interpretation of the "crisis" idea, pointing out the elements that led to its construction.

As specific objectives we list: to describe the relationship of the teacher and students with dance and ABSD; to analyze the relationships of Physical Education and dance, as well as of themes that appeared in the daily life of the classes; comprehend how the institution sees the project, the work and the Afro-Brazilian themes developed. The methodological choice was for a case study that led us to a qualitative research with a descriptive character in order to outline the pedagogical practice and understand the subjects' relationships with knowledge in that context. To achieve our goals, studies by Charlot (2000) on the Relation with Knowledge collaborate in the discussion as well as authors of Physical Education whose research brings this theory closer to the area. We consider ABSD as an integral element of ethnic-racial issues and Physical Education, which through body language can promote such discussions through this content. The instruments used for the production of data were observation of the project classes, semi-structured interviews with the teacher and members of the pedagogical team, collective interview with similarities to the focus group with students. The data produced were analyzed by the content analysis method and divided into axes in order to achieve our objectives. The results demonstrate different relationships with dance and ABSD and highlight the relational dimension with knowledge. The content is treated as knowledge and the bodily apprehension evidenced. There are counterpoints and representations that need reflection to avoid the formation or maintenance of stereotypes in relation to the black culture and population. The subjects demonstrate familiarity with ABSD, which we perceive as promoting an anti-racist education.

- ItemA "graça" no campo da religião : uma análise retórica da pregação de Cláudio Duarte(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2017-02-22) Freitas, Franciely Corrêa de; Carmelino, Ana Cristina; Vidon, Luciano Novaes; Figueiredo, Maria FláviaThe field of religion tends to be characterized by a tone of seriousness, not humor. Perceiving the presence and a dissemination of humor in a religious social practice, case of preaching, which deals with matters related to the sacred and therefore considered serious, was the main motivation for the realization of this dissertation. In this sense, this research aims to investigate the role and relevance of humor in the religious preaching "Reconstructing the truths of God", pronounced by the pastor Cláudio Duarte. The hypothesis is that humor is extremely important in preaching, since it has the function of contributing to the effectiveness of the persuasive process. The theoretical apparatuses that support this study are from the Aristotelian rhetoric (ARISTÓTELES, 2000; 2011), the New Rhetoric (PERELMAN, OLBRECHTS-TYTECA, 2005, REBOUL, 2004; MEYER, 2007; FERREIRA, 2010), of theorists who address issues of humor (TRAVAGLIA, 1992; BERGSON, 2007; PROPP, 1992; PERELMAN; OLBRECHTS-TYTECA, 2005; CARMELINO, 2009; 2012) of the field of religion (CITELLI, 2005; NASCIMENTO, 2012; FIGUEIREDO; RODRIGUES, 2008) and the preaching genre (FIGUEIREDO et al., 2009). The analysis allowed us to verify some humor production techniques used in more recurrent way, in the case of the communion allusion figure, the arguments of contradiction and incompatibility, reciprocity, comparison, and the pragmatic. Besides that, the lexical choices and the prosodic elements were of great relevance for the argumentation and the construction of the humor. It was also possible to observe that, through the logos, the speaker constructs the image (ethos) of serious, informed, leader, irreverent and humble, besides moving passions (pathos), as calm, love, compassion, joy, confidence and a fear. In this way, the humor present in the preaching of Duarte is not used in an unpretentious way; In fact, it is a resource that contributes in an efficient way to the speaker's speech in order to achieve audience support.
- ItemA 'fase de saneamento e organização' no processo de estrutura cooperativo-democrática(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2015-07-03) Sant'Anna, Igor Pinheiro de; Mazzei, Rodrigo Reis; Zaneti Júnior, Hermes; Gonçalves, Tiago FigueiredoThis research aim to analyze the judicial sanitation phase of the process and its organization as a mechanism to enforce parties to participate on court’s decisions. Nowadays, the judicial system experiences the theoretical framework of formalism and evaluative, where the process itself is the methodological pole of the procedural science, strengthening it as a stage with three different actors. It is assumed that a democratic model of procedures is required to ensure the effective participation of the parties along the formation of the court’s decision. Moreover, the research dismembers the three main activities developed during the sanitation phase of the process: the conciliation attempt proclaimed by the judge; the correction of procedural defects added by the decisions regarding any other issues related to procedural disputes; and, at last, the organization of the probative instruction phase, with the proper fixing of the disputed issues. At the end, the research will conclude if the sanitation part of the process is the best moment to develop the judicial dialogue; and if it is possible to reach a fair decision in a reasonable time with the judicial dialog with the effective participation of the parties.

This theory holds that it is in the family microsystem that the individual establishes his first significant relationships and it is through reciprocal, frequent and continuous interactions, called proximal processes, that the individual develops. Thus, in parenting, the proximal processes established between adults and children promote the development of both. For this theory, among other factors, the macrosystem, the context in which values, culture and beliefs are present, influences the occurrence of proximal processes. Therefore, it is relevant to study how parenting is organized and experienced in different contexts. In order to cover the proposed objectives, this research was composed of two studies. The first study was an integrative review that aimed to analyze and systematize the knowledge produced about the parenting by same-sex couples in the Brazilian and Portuguese contexts by the year 2019. We sought to describe the main topics addressed in scientific production, in empirical articles in both countries, and to highlight advances and/or gaps in discussions. The searched databases were: LILACS, Redalyc, RCAAP, PePSIC, SciELO and EBSCOhost. The searches took place in 2020, with a total of seven descriptors in Portuguese and their respective translations into English, resulting in 17 different search combinations. 53 articles were retrieved: 35 Brazilian, 17 Portuguese and 1 Luso-Brazilian. Patterns in the scientific production on the subject were observed, and the material was analyzed qualitatively through Thematic Analysis. All selected articles had a cross-sectional design, with a prevalence of qualitative studies in Brazil and quantitative studies in Portugal. The first thematic axis organized extracts on the Conceptions of other groups on aspects involving same-sex parenting, organized into two subthemes: Conceptions of different groups on same-sex parenting; and Conceptions of other groups about the development of the child in the same-sex family. The second thematic axis brought together excerpts on the experiences of families of lesbian/gay/bisexual (LGB) people, with and without children, organized into five sub-themes: Desire, project, and path chosen to achieve parenthood; Experiences associated with parenting in LGB families with children; Importance of legal/legal aspects; Relationship of families with different contexts: Support X Prejudice; and Coping modes. It was verified, in both countries, the desire, the realization and the experience of parenting, the challenges faced by the families and the parental practices exercised with the children, as well as the low social support and the confrontation of prejudices related to lgbphobia. Although the conceptions about parenting exercised by same-sex couples and its benefits for child development were positive for a large portion of the Brazilian and Portuguese population, negative conceptions were very present in both countries, especially among older people, men, religious and more conservative. The second study departs from a qualitative perspective, with the objective of investigating, from the perspective of mothers, the interactions between mothers and sons/daughters, analyzing the experiences lived by women, in families formed by couples of the same sex, in the micro, meso, exo and macrosystems, based on the factors that promote the development of the Person-Process-Context-Time model, TBDH and family resilience. More specifically, the objective was to know and describe the experience of parenting and interactions established in these families, through parenting practices and interactions between mothers and children in families of same-sex couples in the Brazilian context and in the Portuguese context; identify the participants' evaluation regarding their insertion in different contexts, such as school, extended family and society in general, as well as the challenges and confrontations present in these interactions; and learn how the participants understand the adjustment of their families to the sociocultural issues of the country they live in, identifying relationships between micro and macrosystems. Nine Brazilian women and eight Portuguese women, members of five Brazilian families and five Portuguese families, with sons/daughters aged nine or less, inserted in the school/nursery context and who exercised parenting together with their partner since the birth of the children. The instrument used for data collection was a semi-structured interview script, applied individually, built for the investigation based on in the Bioecological Theory and in the phenomena of interest. The collected information was fully transcribed and analyzed qualitatively with the proposal of Thematic Analysis. The material was organized and analyzed, based on four main themes: 1) Proximal processes and interactions in the family microsystem; 2) Mesosystem: Interaction of the family microsystem with the original family microsystems and with the children's school; 3) The experience and understanding of same-sex parenting in the broader social context; 4) Repercussions of the Macrosystem: Reflections on heteronormativity and the social acceptance of family diversity. It was verified that, through proximal processes, identified in interactions engaged and frequent, the participants described the strengthening and complexification of parent-child interactions, expanding parental resources, skills and competences over time, which contributed to the development of mothers and children in interaction. It was verified, from the parental project, the development of new skills, adjustments in the relationship between the couple, changes in routine and division of tasks, in addition to affective investment in interactions and care practices with children. These results point to the quality of interactions and proximal processes established between mothers/children in the microsystem familiar. According to Hoghughi's parenting model, characteristics and skills related to the group of prerequisites (motivation; knowledge and understanding; resources; and opportunity) and parenting activities that corresponded to the dimensions of care were identified. (physical, emotional and social), control and development, meeting children's basic needs, promoting child well-being and preventing adversities. It was identified that most of the challenges experienced were related to social interactions in other contexts, with emphasis on inverse proximal processes experienced both by children, in the school environment, both by the participants, especially in the families of origin. Macrosocial policies and attitudes were found to influence attitudes and interactions with people in more proximal contexts. A pronounced difference between the two countries referred to the Brazilian political climate, which potentiated the occurrence of expressions of prejudice in micros, meso, exo and macrosystem and impacted the well-being of the participants. The process of politicization of the participants regarding the heteronormative culture and the awareness of the processes of minority stress that impacted family well-being, and the use of resources and coping strategies by family members. The lgbphobia processes experienced in the microsystems in which the participants were or were inserted had a greater impact on individual and family well-being, such as bullying that occurred in the school environment and lgbphobia experienced in the microsystem of the family of origin. In front of the construction of parental project started together, it was concluded that the families had stable, engaged and frequent, bidirectional parent-child proximal processes, motivation and commitment in establishing behaviors adequate to the children's needs, and indicators of family resilience processes, thriving despite the adversities and vulnerabilities experienced.

The research seeks to answer the following questions: which values of the Parties can be the object of expropriation by creditors and interested parties who aim to receive debts? If the Parties do not have private funds, is it possible to make the party fund nonseizability more flexible? In which contexts? Should the special fund also be declared unseizable like the party fund? Through the deductive method of investigation, we seek to understand the peculiarities of the patrimonial responsibility of political parties. As a delimitation of the proposed theme, the main core of the research is the objective dimension of patrimonial responsibility, that is, it is limited to the analysis of which values can be expropriated. Therefore, the theme is approached in an evolutionary way and the dissertation was divided into three chapters. The first, in an introductory way, aims to address general concepts of electoral law, such as political parties, candidates, federations, coalitions, together with political financing in Brazil. The second chapter aims to study the general part of patrimonial responsibility and the regime of non-seizability. The third chapter deals specifically with the current context of party debts and the executions in which the parties are submitted, both in the scope of the Common Justice and in the scope of the Specialized Electoral Justice, specifically analyzing the non-seizability of party funds and electoral fund, in order to facilitate the receipt of amounts from political parties by creditors. From the theoretical model of logico-semantic constructivism, Law is understood as a set of rule of laws and cultural object constituent by its own realities by means of deontic speech act. To each production of legal norm there is a new legal system in a certain time. Legal security safeguards legal facts that occur in each of the legal system , ensuring the maintenance of the legal relationships created by Law. In order to protect the Federal Constitution, the constituent created forms of constitutionality control which will be proceeded either in a diffuse way, or in a concentrated way, not having hierarch between these two forms. From this perspective, the concept of res judicata is set from its normative structure as well as fundamental right guaranteed by the Federal Constitution of 1988. This theoretical and legislative panorama support the conclusion by the unconstitutionality of the provision in the Code of Civil Procedure of 2015.

- ItemA (re)organização da beira-mar : diferentes modos de uso e ocupação no norte do Espírito Santo(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2010-09-03) Teixeira, Claudinea da Cunha; Freire, Ana Lucy Oliveira; Scarim, Paulo César; Martins, Sergio Manuel MerêncioThe presence of human groups on the coast is a condition that makes geographic space. So while space is socially engaged subject to the process of (re) organization. The reality studied applies to locations on the waterfront in the city of St. Matthew in the north of Espirito Santo. The origin of these locations refers to the colonial period. However, the waterfront was occupied by ethnic groups (indigenous) previous to the Europeans and Africans. To study this coastal stretch, the geographical science approached the territory category to better understand it. For this, he appropriated the concepts of coastal peasantry, traditional people, state capital, urbanization and planning for the analysis of this process of (re)organization. The seafront brings in its history the peasantry littoral (land use / natural environments) as a determining factor in the formation of a territory. In this case, the evidence in question refers to changes in the way of use and occupation from the mid-twentieth century. The development projects have led to the recovery of coastal lands and thus changes in the way of life who was always at sea. The oil and gas activity, the effect of tourism (and recreation) and the expansion of the urban housing market by bringing about changes since, rural lands are converted into urban land and traditional activities, from simple commodity production are replaced by activities based capitalist. Each of these activities have the state as the idealistic and the promoter of change, however, there is contradictory to the role of government. At the municipal level, the government now mediates conflicts, now turns to the interests of private capital and disregards the policies of territorial questions of socio-environmental and socio-cultural order.
- ItemA (re)significação do erro no ensino de química orgânica numa perspectiva construtivista(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2019-02-25) Carrijo, Ana Regina Dalmaschio; Mendes, Ana Nery Furlan; Senatore, Regina Célia Mendes; Megna, Vivian CornelioTraditionally in schools, the error has been a source of condemnation, flogging and punishment, a fact that can be translated as ignorance about the interpretive character of the processes of development of the student's intelligence and their levels of structuring. However, under the piagetian constructivist perspective, error in the educational scenario is transformed into a valuable pedagogical tool for the understanding of student learning, used to indicate the stage in which the student is, and consequently, to make decisions for subsequent activities. In order to reimpose the constructive error in the teaching of Chemistry, a study was elaborated on the error committed by the student during the process of construction of knowledge in Organic Chemistry. From this perspective, excels the educator’s importance to assume, in their daily lives, the conduct of observing and making mistakes observable by the student himself. It is not a question of simply pointing them out, but rather of carrying out a work of directing and encouraging the students' attempts for a legitimate reflection and consequent regulation of what had been constructed, so that this student reaches levels of ever greater intelligence.

The research seeks to answer the following questions: which values of the Parties can be the object of expropriation by creditors and interested parties who aim to receive debts? If the Parties do not have private funds, is it possible to make the party fund nonseizability more flexible? In which contexts? Should the special fund also be declared unseizable like the party fund? Through the deductive method of investigation, we seek to understand the peculiarities of the patrimonial responsibility of political parties. As a delimitation of the proposed theme, the main core of the research is the objective dimension of patrimonial responsibility, that is, it is limited to the analysis of which values can be expropriated. Therefore, the theme is approached in an evolutionary way and the dissertation was divided into three chapters. The first, in an introductory way, aims to address general concepts of electoral law, such as political parties, candidates, federations, coalitions, together with political financing in Brazil. The second chapter aims to study the general part of patrimonial responsibility and the regime of non-seizability. The third chapter deals specifically with the current context of party debts and the executions in which the parties are submitted, both in the scope of the Common Justice and in the scope of the Specialized Electoral Justice, specifically analyzing the non-seizability of party funds and electoral fund, in order to facilitate the receipt of amounts from political parties by creditors. Therefore, the area of concentration Process, Techniques and Protection of Existential and Patrimonial Rights of the Graduate Program in Procedural Law of the Federal University of Espírito Santo.

We understand that Field Education and Environmental Education, because they aim to emancipate the challenges of contemporary society, tend to contribute to the formation of the critical awareness of these subjects. Thus, in order to cooperate with the proposal of a critical and emancipatory education, this work investigated how the rural school constructs its environmental educational practice using the Alternance Pedagogy as teaching method. Next, we carry out documentary analysis with emphasis on the School's Political Pedagogical Project, Training Plans, Teaching Plans, Didactic Sequences and Pedagogical tools used in the Pedagogy of alternation such as: the notebook of reality, the accompanying notebook and research reality from the generating themes, in order to clarify how the school works on issues related to Environmental Education. The third stage of the research analyses the practice experienced by the students of the 9th year of elementary education in all educational moments. For the data collection observations were made during the development of theoretical and practical tasks in school and Community Time. In addition, interviews with teachers, students and parents/community representatives served as a source of data collection. The results show that the Três de Maio school, Peter Canary (Spirit Saint, Brazil) uses different strategies to work on the environmental dimension, since the environmental themes are present in the documentary records and are experienced by the students. The Alternation Pedagogy is a method that, in addition to establishing constant dialogue and promoting the rapprochement between the students and the field, strengthens the teaching of EE through the proposed topics deepened over the quarters.

At the Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo - IFES, most SIAFI users work in the Accounting Department or in the Budget and Financial Execution Sector. Since its implementation, there has never been a diagnosis on the acceptance of SIAFI, as well as on the satisfaction of its end users. Currently, there is training for new SIAFI users, but it is done separately on each campus. This training is important, because problems caused by its inadequate use allow dysfunctions to occur, such as: delayed payment to suppliers, incorrect entries and generation of unreliable data. These occurrences, in turn, hinder the acceptance process and the use of the SIAFI by the users and, end of the line, lead to a decrease in satisfaction in relation to the system. In the best interest of public service, this study seeks to answer the following research question: How can the intention to use the SIAFI be used as an antecedent variable to the satisfaction of the end users of the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (IFES)? In this direction, this research sought to clarify how the acceptance and use of the SIAFI happens, and how this acceptance and use are related to the satisfaction of the SIAFI end users. Thus, the main objective of this study can be stated as follows: to evaluate how the acceptance of technology and the level of satisfaction of the SIAFI end users are related in the context of a federal educational institution. In terms of building the theoretical foundation, this research draws on studies inherent to technology acceptance and use and end-user satisfaction of computing, more specifically the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model and the model for identifying End-User Satisfaction with Computing (EUCS). Due to the small number of SIAFI users at the IFES, 68 people, a census was chosen, dispensing with the use of sampling techniques. Regarding the data used for analysis, these were primary, originating from the responses of 51 SIAFI users to a survey, made available through Google Forms, in the 21 units of IFES. For data analysis, after tabulation, variable analysis was used by means of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the analysis confirmed six of the eight hypotheses analyzed, corroborating that the constructs belonging to the UTAUT model behave as predictors of the satisfaction of the SIAFI end users, measured by the constructs of the EUCS model. Thus, within the limitations presented in this work, which indicate parsimony in the generalization of the use of the results, it was concluded that the acceptance and use of the SIAFI and the satisfaction of its end users are related in the form of cause/effect, i.e., satisfaction is influenced by the acceptance of the technology within the IFES. The technical product resulting from this dissertation consists of a Technical Report called "Suggestions for improvements for the public administration related to the SIAFI". It was based on the objectives achieved with the data analysis and obtained, at the end, a diagnosis of the situation studied, which led to the preparation of suggestions, in order to improve the acceptance of the SIAFI, promoting, then, the improvement of the satisfaction of its users.
