Resumo
Aiming at contributing to the integration between management of water resources and city management, this work has as objectives: evaluate the interrelation of the instruments of management of water resources and with the urban city management; identify integration possibilities between the instruments of these managements; propose strategies which make possible the accomplishment of the integration of the above mentioned management instruments and evaluate literature pointed integration proposals. The importance of this theme is based on the interaction complexity of the usage, soil occupation and the water resources, and as a consequence, that is also based on the understanding of the needs and challenges of that integrated management. Methodologically, based on bibliography review on management of water resources, city management and their integration, interviews and technical meetings, this work identified the city management instruments which, afterwards, were systematically grouped and performed the interrelation with the instruments of management of water resources. As a conclusion, differently from the works pointed by literature, this one does not aim at defining potential specific instruments for the integration, several integration possibilities are suggested parting from the studied management instruments. The presented affinities among the instruments delimit directions towards how those ones may be grouped, and set a base for strategies that may be used with integration objectives, which can be distinct for each situation, making it possible for the integration to be performed in different contexts and stages of the management process; from planning to implementation. Besides, the evaluation of integration proposals pointed by literature, in light of the possibilities of integration presented, corroborate the results of this work.
