Resumo
This dissertation focuses on the subject of sustainable buildings by studying the possibility of adopting sustainability guidelines in tenders for works of buildings of Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Espírito Santo, considering the study of environmental certification systems and law Brazil related to the theme. Provides for such a review and theoretical and conceptual systematization of sustainable development, construction, green buildings and sustainable procurement; conducts survey on the Brazilian environmental legislation and identifies certifying institutions related to sustainable construction; provides an overview of the history and structure of the IFES; prepares an analysis of buildings in bidding on IFES and finally presents an Intervention Plan in order to contribute to the adoption of sustainable building guidelines in the buildings of IFES.
