Abstract
The book "Pesquisa em ensino, formação docente e práticas curriculares na Educação Básica" brings together a collection of studies developed within the Postgraduate Program in Teaching, Basic Education, and Teacher Training (PPGEEDUC/Ufes) between 2022 and 2024. The volume articulates investigations that position the daily routine of public schools as a central space for knowledge production, structuring itself around three fundamental axes: the integration of Environmental Education from critical and transformative perspectives; the challenges of school inclusion and the impacts of coloniality and neoliberalism on curricular policies and teaching professionalism; and, finally, the development of new didactic methodologies, including the use of manipulable materials and gamification in Science teaching. By analyzing the tensions between macro-structural guidelines and the teachers' "know-how" on the school floor, the publication provides theoretical and practical insights to overcome traditional pedagogical models, reinforcing the role of action-research and continuing education in building an emancipatory and contextualized educational praxis in Basic Education.
