dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the theoretical-conceptual notion of the gaze in Lacan's teaching, structured around three main moments. The first addresses the relationship between vision and the eye in Lacan's early works, where the epistemological axis was the mirror stage, highlighting the function of the eye in the initial presentations of the inverted bouquet scheme (1938-1952). The second moment focuses on the role of the gaze of the Other in the Symbolic register, exploring its function as the institutor of the unary trait in the mirror stage (1952-1961). Finally, the third moment examines the emergence of the gaze as object a in the drive circuit and the Real register (1962-1964), emphasizing desire in the visual field through the limits of optical schemas and the use of surface topology. The dissertation explores the transit of the gaze through the Imaginary, Symbolic, and Real registers, emphasizing their interdependence in the constitution of the subject in psychoanalysis. Moreover, it seeks to differentiate visual perception and the gaze in psychoanalytic theory, analyzing their clinical and theoretical implications, and contributing to the deepening of discussions about contemporary modalities of the gaze, the impasses in subjective constitution, and the challenges of the social bond in the present day
dc.description.resumoEste trabalho investiga a concepção teórico-conceitual do olhar no ensino de Lacan, estruturando-se em três momentos principais. O primeiro abrange a relação entre a visão e o olho nos primeiros trabalhos de Lacan, nos quais o eixo epistemológico foi o estádio do espelho, destacando a função do olho nas primeiras apresentações do esquema do buquê invertido (1938-1952). O segundo momento enfoca o papel do olhar do Outro no registro Simbólico, explorando sua função como instituinte do traço-unário no estádio do espelho (1952-1961). Por fim, o terceiro aborda a emergência do olhar como objeto a no circuito pulsional e no registro do Real (1962-1964), evidenciando o desejo no campo visual por meio dos limites dos esquemas ópticos e da apropriação da topologia das superfícies. A dissertação explora o trânsito do olhar pelos registros Imaginário, Simbólico e Real, enfatizando a interdependência entre eles na constituição do sujeito em psicanálise. Ademais, busca diferenciar percepção visual e olhar no campo psicanalítico, analisando suas implicações clínicas e teóricas e contribuindo para o aprofundamento das discussões sobre as modalidades contemporâneas do olhar, os impasses na constituição subjetiva e os desafios do laço social na atualidade
