For this, it is expected to investigate the constituent elements of the housing archetypes of two African linguistic groups: the Bantu and the Sudanese, considering that both represent the largest part of the contingent of Africans brought to Brazil. In this way, in addition to architectural typologies, it is desired to understand the structuring cosmovision of the ways of living of such peoples. In this sense, it is expected to address the two perspectives of dwelling both in the context before and after the crossings, using the Bantu and Sudanese kraals in Africa and the quilombos in Brazil as analysis clippings. Regarding the structure of the research, it is based on the elaboration of a conceptual framework that guides and provides a methodological, theoretical and conceptual base at the first moment. In the second moment, the Bantu and Sudanese cosmovision is investigated in two clippings: in the African continent before the slave trade and in the Brazilian diaspora. In the third moment, the investigation about the living space is deepened in line with two theoretical discussions, which will help in the intended analysis at the end of the research. It is worth noting that due to the lack of literature found, it was decided to establish a conceptual framework that would guarantee the development of the theme based on the elaboration of its own research methodology. Therefore, the construction of an interdisciplinary methodological structure sympathetic to the decolonial and Afrocentric perspective is observed, as opposed to the Eurocentric logic historically implemented in scientific research, with cultural transcreation as the main theoretical basis. As a result, the urgency of the theme for the field of the history of Brazilian architecture is highlighted in a way that is consistent with the observed social, cultural and spatial reality. Despite the need to reduce the initial scope of the dissertation, there is an effort to contribute to the solidification of a field of research that is still little worked and of great potential, which is not restricted to the theoretical discipline of architecture, but expands to the field of architecture. rewriting of a historical record consistent with the Brazilian reality, which encourages representativeness based on identification and expands the referential baggage of Brazilian architects and urban planners, regardless of their ethnic origin.

To meet the general and specific objectives outlined, an empirical research was carried out with a group of children aged between 10 and 12 years, students of the 6th and 7th year of the Municipal School of Early Childhood Education and Elementary School Alfredo Leppaus from the community of Holanda, in the municipality of Santa Leopoldina/ES. The activities carried out with the children were divided into three stages: freehand drawing, the use of the Minecraft geogame as a tool for the intervention and territorial planning stage and, finally, questions to evaluate the activities.

- ItemHipo-utopia, das utopias urbanas ao sul: a cidade contemporânea no cinema brasileiro de ficção científica(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2021-05-21) Margotto, Mário Victor Marques; Almeida, Lutero Proscholdt; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7716-6031; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5805686115208887; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0157-807X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9349707451043622; Silva, Adriana Mattos de Caúla e; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4824-7283; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1058314581533425; Miranda, Clara Luiza; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9636-2572; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9723975125785156Through an exploratory research, seeks a first approach to an object little studied when taken as a group – which inhabits a “rarefied atmosphere” (SUPPIA, 2007): the cities represented in Brazilian science fiction cinema. In addition to a bibliographic review and a theoretical reflection, utilizes film analysis in order to explore the cities represented in three contemporary works: Cold Tropics (Recife Frio) (2009), White Out, Black In (Branco Sai, Preto Fica) (2014) and Chico (2016). First, starts with a discussion regarding “urban utopias”, as proposed by Caúla (2019), bringing and expanding the concept of “hipo-utopia” (FERREIRA, 2015) to contextualize, categorize and characterize both the group of science fiction films produced in the Global South, as well as the urban utopias produced by Brazilian science fiction cinema. Furthermore, comments on the modernization and urbanization process in the Brazilian historical context, highlighting its condition permeated by inequalities, discrepancies and contradictions (MARICATO, 2000, 2015), in order to reinforce the compatibility of the concept of “hipo-utopia”, as well as to illustrate and contextualize the urban reality through which this category of film aims to explore through its speculations. Concerning the film analysis, two inputs are used to explore these representations: on the one hand, the elements of science fiction narrative, the "novum" and the "cognitive estrangement" (SUVIN, 1979), and, on the other hand, the interpretation of scenarios and spaces through the possibilities of the cinematographic language and the aesthetics developed by each work. Understanding that this cinema produces its other-places from the filmed city (COMOLLI, 1997) – through cuts and decisions that are characteristic of the seventh art –, the urban space itself turns out a protagonist that, on the one hand, singles out the city, and, on the other, highlights its elements. In this regard, besides the films address the social disparities of a peripheral region regarding modernization (FERREIRA, 2012; GINWAY and BROWN, 2014; PAZ, 2008), these “science fiction cities” (MUSSET, 2007) are also enhanced as a place of estrangement, which these movies explore. A first step was taken to understand the studied object, however, there are relevant issues that, given its complexity, were not developed in this research, requiring further studies.
- ItemO ensino do desenho universal nos cursos de arquitetura e urbanismo da região metropolitana da grande Vitória – ES(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2023-10-18) Bernardo, Ana Carolina Diniz; Almeida, Lutero Proscholdt; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5805686115208887; https://orcid.org/0009-0004-0365-2335; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0874832682107299; Dorneles, Vanessa Goulart; Botechia, Flavia Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3517861429639648The education of the professional architect and urban planner is carried out in a generalist manner during the undergraduate course. Among its various responsibilities, it is necessary to understand the needs of users, whether individual or collective, for the development of various types of projects, from urban interventions to the creation of indoor environments. This research is justified by recognizing the importance of universal design in the daily lives of all people and the need for architects and urban planners to have knowledge about the subject. The objective is to verify if the teaching of universal design has been implemented in the undergraduate architecture and urban planning courses in the municipalities of the Metropolitan Region of Greater Vitória, in the state of Espírito Santo. To do so, a literature review on accessibility, universal design, and the teaching of these topics in the architecture and urban planning course was conducted; higher education institutions participants were defined, interviews were conducted with coordinators and professors, questionnaires were administered to final year students, and information was collected from higher education institutions. The results showed that universal design is present in undergraduate education, as required by Resolution CNE/CES No. 01/2021, however it is necessary to train teachers so that they can address of the topic can occur in a more in-depth manner with students.
