Resumo
This collection presents a theoretical and practical reflection on the integration and consolidation of the work of psychologists and social workers within public basic education networks. Driven by the ethical-political developments of Law No. 13,935/2019, the volume brings together various articles and experience reports from both the state of Espírito Santo and national contexts, analyzing the creation of multidisciplinary teams under a transdisciplinary and critical perspective. The texts articulate the challenges inherent to daily professional practice in the face of the structural crisis of capital, countering psychologizing, individualizing, and assistentialist views that historically maintain the status quo. Based on axes that encompass the prevention and confrontation of violence in the school environment, professional duties and competencies, working conditions, and training environments, the book proposes the construction of emancipatory pedagogical practices that foster an anti-racist, anti-ableist, and anti-sexist ethos, thus reinforcing education as a fundamental human right.
