Resumo
This research is a political commitment to telling the stories of children in gender dissidence, referred to as "meninas-molecas", through everyday events in schools and small towns. These are physical and existential territories where urban and rural spaces intersect, and it is assumed that there is a greater practice and surveillance of moral codes, as local culture demands a constant reiteration of ways of being and living as a girl based on sex and gender norms. However, considering that in the city's places and spaces, there is a tension between a disciplinary power that aims to normalize individuals and the tactics of practitioners who create resistance, the "meninas molecas" subvert this logic and build their own existences based on their own ways of doing and networking. By inventing new ways of weaving life, they astutiously alter the daily lives of practitioners. In this sense, during the process of weaving stories, Conversation and field diaries were used as tools, and Pesquisas nos/dos/com os Cotidianos was used as a methodology to highlight the events in schools and small towns from the perspectives of women who lived their childhoods in the municipality of Iconha/ES.
